News: Mt. Bachelor To Open For Public Skiing June 29-July 1, 2012
Bend, OR. - Mt. Bachelor has announced that it will open for skiing and snowboarding Friday, June 29 through Sunday, July 1. Intermediate and advanced terrain will be accessible off the summit, snow and weather conditions permitting.
Mt. Bachelor will be open for skiing from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday-Sunday, with daily lift tickets priced at $30 for all ages. A reduced-rate $20 daily lift ticket will be offered to all 2011-'12 full season, midweek and 12-day pass holders. Skiing and snowboarding will be available from the Summit Express chair, accessible via Pine Marten Express located in the West Village base area.
Services will include ski and snowboard equipment rentals, the Bachelor Ski & Sport retail shop, and on-mountain barbeques with live music at the Pine Marten Lodge on Saturday and Sunday. The first 250 guests that purchase lift tickets each day will receive a commemorative t-shirt.
