Video: Extreme Exposure 4,000 Feet Above Chamonix

Whew! This is intense. Skiing spring powder is always fun, but can be sketchy on this steep of a pitch, with this much exposure. How steep? Steep enough to necessitate jump-turns throughout the entire route. The Frendo Spur is a 4,000-vertical foot mixed-ski route above the town of Chamonix, France, on the Mont Blanc massif. Be sure to watch this video to the end for the lined-out route map. Also, check out the random speed-flyer that drops in to visit Alex Pittin and François-Regis Thevenet about halfway through their descent. This is a nail-biter.
