Video: MacGyver Gets Caught In Avalanche,
This segment is cut from the episode "Out In the Cold" from season two of "MacGyver."
Here, MacGyver is consumed by an avalanche. The ski patrol has only 10 minutes to search for him before they have to abandon the high-risk area.
Buried under the snow, MacGyver makes a small parachute. He then manages to blow it out through his ski pole, which is passing through the overlaying snow.
It's almost as if MacGyver invented the Avalung!
