About Me

Originally from Winchester, Mass., Nick Martini’s love for the snow was ignited at Cannon Mountain, N.H. Like many other action sport athletes he grew up ski racing, but once exposed to freestyle, resolved to hang up the race skis for good. After finishing high school his passion for the sport led him to enroll at the University of Colorado at Boulder (conveniently just a short drive from the storied powder of the Rocky Mountains). By his early 20s Martini’s skills had developed and he consistently blew away sponsors and event organizers with his mastery of jump and rail features. Nick was introduced to many through his feature segments in movies for Stept Productions (a ski movie company that he runs with his brother Alex). In 2009, his undeniable slopestyle talent saw him place sixth in the Mt. Snow stop of the Dew Tour, fifth in the Dew Tour Rail Jam in Portland and tenth overall for the Dew Tour in 2009. 

When not working for Stept or studying, Nick also films for Poor Boyz productions and Teton Gravity Research.
