I had been looking at this air in Breakneck in the Jackson backcountry for about a month. I decided I couldn't take a full summer of thinking about it so on the last day of the season I hit it. It ended in a broken rib.

Then this morning I went to my pharmacology class and learned about opium. Not quite as thrilling. People who do drugs should just ski off cliffs instead. It’s much safer.
This is my entry for the POV contest. The footage is from Northern Utah and Grand Targhee. It's heavy on hucking, but I like to huck and feel that hucks are one of the places where POV really shines. Next year there will be more tricks and more flashing steep lines.
Cowboys and Indians is a well-known chute in Jackson Hole. Athlete Erik Roner drops this classic line and races the slough as it pours over him blocking his vision.
