I had been looking at this air in Breakneck in the Jackson backcountry for about a month. I decided I couldn't take a full summer of thinking about it so on the last day of the season I hit it. It ended in a broken rib.
Sage Cattabriga-Alosa and Seth Morrison push the limits on one of gnarliest spine castles that AK has to offer. The two stand at the top of Hotel Room, choose their lines, and experience one of the most intense rides of their lives. Hotel Room is literally the edge of the world. See for yourself in this must see "Behind The Line" episode.

Please don't take this video out of context. I know it's unimpressive. I posted it when another member challenged me to post a pic of me sliding a rail. End of story. Now can someone else post another video and bump this one down so it stops wasting peoples time? Thank you for your warmth.
This is my entry for the POV contest. The footage is from Northern Utah and Grand Targhee. It's heavy on hucking, but I like to huck and feel that hucks are one of the places where POV really shines. Next year there will be more tricks and more flashing steep lines.
Cowboys and Indians is a well-known chute in Jackson Hole. Athlete Erik Roner drops this classic line and races the slough as it pours over him blocking his vision. Unable to see a thing, Roner points through the cloud and heads for the bottom. For more episodes of Behind the Line check back regularly.

"Generations," a film on climate change coming fall 2009.
Within the span of a lifetime, one can observe the planet's changing climate. Mountain guides, skiers, snowboarders, farmers and climatologists across the world are all seeing change. Ski areas in the Northeast United States are feeling the effects of less snow. California farmlands are experiencing water shortages and the glaciers in Europe are receding at alarming rates. Skiing, which started as a mode of transportation, has become ingrained within mountain cultures everywhere.

Rachael Burks and the boys head out to the Jackson Hole Backcountry to get some shots. Rachael hucks her meat off some monster drops and puts an end to the old saying, “She’s good for a girl.”
Sometimes you get it. This year Stevens Pass dis, receiving just over 200 inches of snow in the month of March. A friend of mine brought up a POV one day, and it just happend to be pretty epic out. If your a loc, you'll recognize Tunnel, Alder Chutes, Sleazy, Pot o Gold, and many more that will remain nameless. Keep in mind this is one day, lapping pow. Enjoy.
