    Rider: Austin Stromme Filmed By: Brian Gavin, Steve Stromme, Corey Nugent This season I decided to focus less on contests and more on filming. It has been my dream for a long time to be in a ski movie and this is the product of a season full of hard work and dedication. I wanted to do something different than the other edits, so you won't see any park footage in this one. I know the last couple of years a park skier has one so I figure you guys would welcome a change. I think the only thing that is holding me back is my location, I pretty much went as big as I could this season without dying on a flat landing. I really hope you guys like my edit and choose me to go film with you, I promise you won't regret it and I will only be better next year than I was this year!

• News: DNA Grom Contest Winner News: DNA Grom Contest Winner Austin Stromme Earns Place On DNA’s Flow Team

    Layton, Utah – DNA pro Erik Roner chose Austin Stromme, of Woodinville, Washington, as the winner of DNA’s Grom video contest. The contest, which asked contestants to submit videos of them showing off their big mountain and park abilities, was a chance to win a one-year sponsorship deal with DNA. After much consideration, Erik felt Austin stood out from the rest by demonstrating the most progressive skills within a mountain environment.
    
    Weston Charlesworth, DNA’s Team Manager, couldn’t agree more, “I’m excited to have another charging big mountain, and progressive park rider on board. Austin shows a tremendous amount of potential.”

    While the above video is not Austin's winning entry, it does show him ripping pow set to Led Zeppelin's "Over The Hills And Far Away," and for that we give him props.
